Smells great but I don't know if it works to condition my hair

I have loads of this product, as I get a free one with every order of Revlon Color Sublime but I really don't know if this is just to make my hair smell good after having it colored or if it's a conditioning treatment. This is the reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5.
