<p><strong>HOW TO USE</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Switching On</strong>: Plug the appliance into a suitable mains socket and push the (0/I) slider switch to turn the unit on the lowest setting (170°C).</li><li><strong>Temperature Settings</strong>: Push the slider switch again to select either 200°C or 230°C.</li><li><strong>Caution</strong>: Avoid contact with hot surfaces, especially on the skin, eyes, ears, face, and neck.</li><li><strong>Temperature Selection</strong>: Slide the switch using the symbols as a guide:<ul><li>230°C</li><li>200°C</li><li>170°C</li><li>OFF</li></ul></li><li><strong>Heat Settings</strong>: Use lower heat settings for fine or colored hair; higher settings for thicker hair. Each indicator light blinks until the unit reaches the selected temperature.</li></ul><p><strong>CREATING CURLS</strong></p><ol><li><strong>Prepare Hair</strong>: Separate a section of hair, ideally no more than 3.5 cm wide.</li><li><strong>Position Hair</strong>: Place the hair into the unit at the roots, with the side curved cooling plates facing towards the head, and close the plates.</li><li><strong>Curling Motion</strong>: Turn the unit 90° so the curved curling plates face upwards. Hold the hair firmly between the plates, using the easy grip cool tips for control.</li><li><strong>Glide and Curl</strong>: Slowly glide the unit down the hair from root to tip in an outward curved motion. By the time the unit reaches the ends, the cooling plates should face down.</li><li><strong>Finishing</strong>: Release the unit and turn the end of the section through 180° to set the curl. Repeat as needed.</li><li><strong>Alternative Use</strong>: Alternatively, place the hair into the unit at the roots, turn the unit 90° so the plates face downwards, and glide in an inward curved motion. Turn the end of the section through 180°.</li></ol><p><strong>Temperature Guide</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Green</strong>: Delicate, thin hair - Creating curls at 170°C</li><li><strong>Orange</strong>: Average hair - Creating curls at 200°C</li><li><strong>Red</strong>: Thick, frizzy, or ethnic hair - Straightening at 230°C</li><li>Use lower temperatures (170°C or 200°C) for curling; use 230°C only if hair needs straightening before curling.</li></ul><p><strong>AFTER USE</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Turning Off</strong>: Push the switch to (0/I) to turn off and unplug the appliance.</li><li><strong>Cooling</strong>: Allow the unit to cool before storing.</li><li><strong>Auto Shut-Off</strong>: If unused for about 72 minutes, the auto shut-off feature will turn the unit off for safety and longevity.</li></ul><p><strong>MAINTENANCE</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Cleaning</strong>: Unplug the unit and let it cool completely.
